What do you drink?

I've got the ol' Nespresso Essenza D90

It's the cheapest one of all the machines, but it still makes great coffee. It set me back about 150 $ of your funny money.
My personal favorites are Vivalto Lungo and the espresso Arpeggio.
The most failed flavour yet is the, now discontinued, gingerbread blend, bleh.

What do you drink?

And if you don't drink coffee, what the fuck get's you up in the morning?

I have an el cheapo Mr. Coffee

I REALLY like this organic hazelnut dark roasted stuff that I can't remember the brand of.. however, I sent hub to the store for coffee (rut roh) and he came back with "New England Coffee" cuz it was on sale.

Isn't bad. Pretty good. But I still like my other stuff way more.

I add in:

and

It's no espresso (I would LOVE an espresso machine..), but it's pretty yummy! :D

I wake up on straight auto-pilot to the coffee maker, and stare at it brewing, cup in hand - ready with syrups already measured out, waiting for it to finish so I can mix and chug.

I'm sorry to say this and this may seem like I'm American bashing, which this time I'm not, but the American Drip method has been proven to be, by far, the WORST way to make coffee.
You'd be better off dumping one of those artificially flavored "New England" bags into your swimming pool and cupping it from there. It's just as weak as Mr. Coffee.

As according to YOU some dude's in Japan eat flavored poo with ice cream scoops ...

Bottom line: If a nigga likes his coffee in a sweaty tube sock then let a nigga have his sweaty ass tube sock coffee.

Oh, I believe you. The amount of grounds it takes just to produce an okay strength is pretty sad. Buuut, it gets the job done =/

That really depends on the coffeemaker, really.
According to the standard from European Coffee Brewing Centre (ECBC), a coffeemaker shall use between 4 and 6 minuttes to brew. The tempererature during brewing shall be between 92 and 96 degrees, and the coffee should hold a degree of 80 - 85 degrees when done.
Not only does many of the cheap coffeemakers fail to uphold this standard, but many expensive ones as well. As for coffeemakers, the only safe bet is to buy a handmade MoccaMaster from Holland. Expensive but fucking reliable.

I drink coffee once in awhile... but who needs coffee at 5 A.M. when you're already awake from being pissed off at the world?

Most Drip coffee machines do not soak the beans for that long. They just drip on through.

With the French Press, it soaks the grounds for as long as you like. It also works good for espresso bean grinds.

Now, tell the truth. You can see that Press in most European households, yes?

Hell, I have owned three so far, and this flat that I rent now that's fully furnished have one as well (which I don't use since the Nespresso rule).
It seems that most people 'round these parts have both a coffeemaker and a coffee press.

So, from the pic you provided, I would have to buy their prepacked coffee that comes in those little cups or could I put my own stash in those cups and drop it into the machine?
