What's good for you one day is bad for you next year.

Coffee was bad. Now it's good.
Chocolate was bad. Now it's good.
Wine was bad. Now it's good.

Drinking 8 glasses of water was good. Now it's debunked.

"So where did the eight glasses a day idea come from? In his 2002 study debunking the 8x8 message – eight glasses, containing eight ounces (around 235ml) of water – Heinz Valtin, a kidney specialist at the Dartmouth Medical School in New Hampshire, traced it to an American nutritionist Frederick J Stare, and a passage in a 1974 book he co-wrote: "For the average adult, somewhere around 6 to 8 glasses per 24 hours and this can be in the form of coffee, tea, milk, soft drinks, beer, etc. Fruits and vegetables are also a good source of water.""

Lately I disregard most "medical theory" articles.

I've been around my body for 43 years and know what makes me work well now. And really, @ 43 I'm unlikely to greatly change my ultimate trajectory by very much anyway. I eat as many raw unprepared foods as I can reasonably obtain at mass market type facilities, but I do this because I LIKE those types of foods not because some egg head or hippie mystic told me it was good.

Everything is bad for you in large quantities, even healthy food. If you have anything in moderation (except obvious toxic substances) then you'll be fine. There's no point in drowning your body in a shit ton of water if you're just sitting about; if you're running a marathon then a person will need more water than someone working in an office. It's all about moderation and context.

So... it's old news that the health "field" is always changing what they think about certain things, and you had to liven this long well known fact up with something about water? Lame.

Yeah, right. Like you KNEW that 8 glasses of water was debunked long ago. Sure sure.
Some of us don't live in a planetary hole called Asia... yeah, I knew that.

That's like starting a thread to show off your hot rod of a computer when they've been upgrading them for a long time, with you certainly not being the first. Lame.
Incorrect. My thread about my computer is about ME having something YOU don't. It's entire idea is to make me look cool, and you jealous and/or happy for me. This isn't a new idea, but it damn sure is a popular one, and likely will be until human nature changes... which I don't see happening.

If you'd like, I can come up with a list of things I have that you don't, so you can save yourself the surprise, disappointment, and therapy sessions after opening my threads.
