Good grief. They use a bunch of overly scientific and/or long words to make it sound all ominous and shit.

Scary doom's day bs aside....

Do I think it's a concern? Yes, and I'm glad the navy is doing extensive research on it. However, you can never truly replace the human mind. It's imperfect, so it will not respond the same every time and it senses things beyond the tangible.

Also, I don't think they will ever fully replace human soldiers.

1) Provides jobs.
2) Creates a military presence in civilian life.
3) Instills a sense of pride for one's country.
4) *imo* the human brain cannot be replaced by hardware.
5) People have to die. If warfare becomes exclusively between bots, the front will change so that people *are* dying.
